The school began with the purpose of attending to the education of the children of the farm workers who lived in the area. This school belongs to the Archdiocese of Harare and is directly in charge of the Claretian Missionaries residing in Ruwa (7 km away), in the parish of St. Saint Dominic. Ruwa is located about 25 km east of Harare.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The school community, that is, the parents of children who attend St. Vincent&#8217;s Schools, is generally poor. The majority of parents are farm workers, while others are household employees.
