Lee L. Malunga is a Zimbabwean, born on the 23rd of May 1988 in Chinhoyi town. After completing his basic education, he joined the Claretian Missionaries’ formation on the 2nd of August 2013. He did his one year of candidacy studying English and Computers’ Driver’s Licence. He then entered postulants and simultaneously joined Arrupe Jesuit College for his philosophy studies. In August 2013, he was assigned by the community to teach catechism to St. Vincent centre on Sundays. He did this for two years. After his first year of philosophy he was assigned to pastoral work at St. Vincent Secondary School in Ruwa to teach Integrated Science and Introduction to Computers. Furthermore, after finishing his second year of philosophy he was assigned to Zhomba Mission in Gokwe for pastoral work. From August 2016 to April 2017, he was teaching catechism to children at St. Dominic Parish every Sunday.
After completing his studies in philosophy in 2017, he proceeded to Kenya for his Novitiate. Finishing the Novitiate on the 17th of July 2018, he made his first vows in the Congregation. After finishing his studies of theology in Morogoro, Tanzania, he has been appointed to our community of Ruwa. I was ordained priest on the 14th September 2024.
