This is Fr. Anil Minj CMF, belonging to the Claretian Province of Chennai (India). I was deeply inspired by the charismatic phrase of founder St. Antony Mary Claret as he was named for archbishop saying: “My spirit is for the whole world”. This Phrase of Claret’s transformation took place for me in the year 1996 after completing my secondary schooling from St. Xavier’s College Ranchi.
I was born on 15.11.1978 and I Joined the Claretian Congregation in the year 1996, entering the Novitiate in May 1998. I committed my first profession on 31.05.1999. I finished my BA philosophy in 2003. I completed my BTH in 2009, being ordained priest on 05.02.2010. I felt that this was truly a stimulated call and that I was fully capable of bringing God’s children to the knowledge of His love and His great plan of salvation. God knew my call within the call for the universal mission by keeping silence as Abraham Lincoln says, “Better to remain silence and be thought a fool than speak out and remove all doubts”.
I was deeply contented to admit the call the lord who has extended to me to serve the people of Zimbabwe. I have great respect for the sacred calling and pray every day that I may be strengthened and refined so I may be an example for those around me. I sincerely thank God and you all my brothers for the invitation to wake up my spirit filled call for Zimbabwe. Yours sincerely, Fr. Anil Minj, cmf .
