Hi! My name is Álvaro Rodríguez Jover cmf. I was born in Granada (Spain) in 1978. In 1999, I joined the Claretians doing the postulancy in Sevilla (Spain). After completing my novitiate, I made my first profession in 2002, the 8th of September. After finishing my theological studies, I was assigned to the Claret School in Sevilla, where I spent two years. On the 27th of September 2009, I was ordained priest, spending my first year as a priest in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The following year, I moved to Don Benito, where I worked for six years in the Claret School.
In June 2016, I was assigned to Zimbabwe but my English was poor. For this reason, I spent one year in England studying English. I arrived in Zimbabwe in March 2018. In December 2018 I was appointed to Zhomba Mission. From July 2023 I am at St. Charles Lwanga Parish, Ruwa. I was very happy to be here. In August 2024 I went to Spain, in order to join my new appointment in Granada. I enjoyed a lot the time I spent in Zimbabwe. Tatenda Mwari!
