I am Xavier Tinaye Chibango Moyo. I am a Zimbabwean born in Zvishavane Masvingo diocese. I did my primary school in Nembudzia, Gokwe Diocese and secondary in Chegutu, in the Arch-diocese of Harare. I got in contact with the Claretian Missionaries in 2015 when I became conscious of my interior movements of God’s call to become a religious. Upon completing my ‘A’ Level studies, I began my journey of deep discernment of God’s will in my life with the Claretians in Harare. There I did both my Aspirancy and Postulancy formation. I did my Novitiate in Nairobi, Kenya, and took my temporary vows in 2022. Currently I am pursuing my Theological studies in Granada, Spain.
St. Joseph Chingarande cmf
My name is Joseph Chingarande and I was born on 13 January 1989, in Chirumanzu District, Gweru Diocese. I grown up in Gokwe North, where mu family is currently living. My home parish is St. Thomas, under Chireya Mission. I deeply came to know Claretians Missionaries in 2016. In August 2017 I started my journey with the Claretians as aspirant. I finished the phisolophy in May 2021. Afterwards, I begun my novitiate in Ngong (Kenya) on 7th September 2021, and took my first profession on 8th September 2022. Currently I am pursuing to begin my theological studies in Morogoro (Tanzania). I am so happy to be part of the claretian family.
St. George Chidyamatondo cmf (Studying in Spain)
George Chidyamatondo comes from the Diocese of Gweru, Zimbabwe. He was born and raised in Kwekwe, Zimbabwe.
His relationship with the Claretians began in 2015. And after having encountered them, he began to journey with the Claretians in August 2016 as an Aspirant. Philosophical studies commenced from August 2017 and were successfully completed in May 2020. He did his Novitiate from September 2020 to September 2021. And made his first profession on the 8th of September 2021, which is succeeded by theological studies in Morogoro.
George is an individual who strive to find joy in living and sharing the Gospel message, and strive to succeed in fostering change through innovation and continuous improvement in different environments. He has interest in working with and for people, and makes use of extensive experience and skills to promote an improved human social and spiritual condition. And has personal interest in sports, arts and hi tech.
St. Austin Sayira cmf
I am Austin Sayira, born in Zimbabwe 1993 in the city of Bulawayo. I grew up in Gokwe and it is the diocese I belong until now. Mary Queen of Peace is my Home parish.
I got to know Claretians back in 2004 at Gwave mission my former home parish. I developed a desire to be a priest from then. In 2014 I started to engage myself to know closely the Claretian Missionaries. By 2015 l started journeying with the Claretians as an aspirant until I finished my Philosophy in May 2019.
I did my Novitiate in Kenya from August 14, 2019 to August 15, 2020 the day I received my first profession in Kenya. After finishing my studies in Morogoro I have been apponted to Ruwa. I feel happy to be part of the Claretian family.
Fr. Selvamani (In Zimbabwe from 2015 to 2017)
Fr. David Selvamani was born on 25th January 1985 in the place called Kommedu, TamilNadu, India. His parents are Mr. David, Mrs. Arul Mary David. He has a brother and four sisters older than him; he is the last born. After completing his high school, he joined Claretian seminary for his religious formation. Three years of his Initial formation he did in Kumbakonam then moved to postulancy and bachelor degree in Arts. He was promoted to novitiate. After the year of novitiate, he had his first profession in the year 2007, on the 31st May at Madurai. Then he went for his masters in philosophy for two years, and he was sent for regency for one year, after which he pursued his theological studies in Kolkatta. In the year 2012, he made his perpetual commitment. After two years he was ordained to priesthood in 2014, on May 14th. He was appointed two years as assistant parish priest and was asked to go to Zimbabwe for his missionary tasks. He was two years with us and then had to return to India to take care of his family.
