CLARET HOUSE IN HARARE

The community of Harare was constituted as communitarian group in July 2012, in order to give quality formation to those who want to be Claretians. They are near to the centres of formation for Philosophy and there are more possibilities for their integral formation. The youth who wants to have a first experience in their discernment living the Consecrated Life in our Congregation, are living with the community in this house. During this time they pray and grow in their spirituality, they study and receive specific formation about our Congregation and they are teaching catechism to others as ministry that will equip them for their future as missionaries.

The members of this house also are involved in the Vocation Promotion ministry, welcoming those who are discerning the will of God in their lives.

This community also has the distinction of welcoming new members of the Congregation who are appointed to serve in the Church in Zimbabwe. They dedicate time for studying the language and the culture.

Some of the members of the community are also involved in Claretian Publications, in the issue of creating the Bible Diary in the Shona language.
